Capacitive sensors
The DOL series sensors are a comprehensive program of sensors for automation in industry and agriculture. DOL sensors are characterised by their ability to function in tough operational environments. A particular trait of the series is a long lifespan and a high degree of operating stability. Amplifier and sensor are encapsuled in a hard plastic cylinder, which allows for practical and easy installation whereever the need arises.
The DOL 40R series are also available in zone 20 ATEX approved versions for usage in surroundings with danger of dust explosion.
Application
The DOL series sensor are typically used for detection of materials, e.g. as full and empty indicators in silos and hoppers. Likewise, the sensors can be utilised for controlling conveyor belts.
